Summer fishing in Norway 2012

In detta fish reportage, Summer fishing in Norway 2012 takes Andreas Jonsson and Simon Ekdahl team baitbox with us on a fishing adventure.

We were finally off from our jobs, I and my squire Simon Ekdahl. Finally, we would team baitbox get a much deserved week of fishing in judgment Norwegian forests.

I took the train from Trondheim, Simon took a crammed car from Sundsvall and we met up with each other in Krokom where our journey began and we went, at “fishway”, yes County Road 340 honey i start with Step & an end in Norwegian Namsos actually called so.

After 5 hours in the car we finally crossed the Norwegian border and our fishing adventure could start. We started soft with a few hour friske from the floating rings before we fell asleep like two babies.

We woke up to the fantastic weather, ate a quick breakfast and then started our hike. A walking in rough mountain terrain, scorching summer heat and the back bar we each too heavily packed backpack. After 90 tough minutes, we reached our goal ,a beautiful little river in judgment Norwegian forests, so far from nightclubs, Ullared & screaming kids as you can get.

My squire Simon Ekdahl

We each took a välkomstpilsner, studied the water and pretty soon was able Simon & I conclude that we gone here at least two weeks early. But what to do, In such a situation it is important to like state & erode the, although we would not get fish so we agreed that we were better off out here in the woods than in a warehouse in Trondheim.

We were really craving fish and started fishing of the mile-long river which we had all to ourselves. It was slow but we managed to fool a few small trout at regular intervals and that was enough that we could cook a better lunch. Fished fortlöpte & we sure got fish but it was not exactly the size we had imagined at the trout.

It was now pitch black outside and we sat by the campfire, we drank Irish whiskey, chatted and had a respective bottom angling deployed somewhere in the darkness. Despite the “poor” fishing day so we sat there anyway pleased to be in place & get to hang out in a stunning natural.

The clock ticked on and we would just go & add us as a bolt from the blue howling to my rod, it's a big sound and I have time right up until the rod before it is to be pulled down into the water and disappear for good.

I make a counter-thrust as best I can and feel that this is today by far the largest fish, it feels really nice to be this water.

Now begins anxious thoughts go to his head, and I pray to the gods that I at least get to see the fish before it wears out, and I actually think they hear my prayer. The trout turns out majestically as it takes kit and throw themselves into the sky, my heart stops for a moment before I note that it is still on the hook.

Slowly I try to tire her out and get it to land without taking excessive risks, but it is difficult and the darkness does not help. Again jumps in the air and turns, This is not, I think, now comes off the.

But it is still in place and it becomes a nervous but absolutely wonderful fight & finally I managed with the help of Simon landing trout which proves to weigh the fine 1.5 kg. It turns out that a small trout took my mask, but I noticed something & then the larger trout simply taken the small, unbelievable.

After weighing and photographing the beauty may go back, I feel really happy. Sure, I got nice trout in this river before, but never someone who has been so nice, I'm actually not that this relatively small river could bid on as fine trout.

This amazing fish really saved the entire trip & I would definitely do about the terrible trek to relive that moment.

After this a great fishing experience, it was really hard to sleep and we sat up for hours before we finally fell asleep, satisfied & complacent.
