Joel Jonsson talks about his vacation fishing in this fishing reports. The question was, we would go? On holiday in the sun or up to Norrland and to fish for salmon. The answer was simple and obvious to me, two-week salmon fishing in Vindelälven up on Gargnäs / Fåstrand Fishery.
It had by this time gone up over 15 000 salmon in the river. I had been up last fall and then managed to land 16 pieces of salmon. My butt was given when I went up how would I be able to beat it?
Autumn this year was really nice and it was almost perfect fishing weather during all the days that I was there. The river was sometimes alldelens blank where dragonflies and other insects landed on the surface, which in turn attracted the occasional nice grayling up to eat on those long fishing lines.

When I arrived, I looked out on the river and enjoyed the spectacle so I wanted to come straight out and try my luck so I hastened to prepare my rod. It was nice fish were on the move with its broad backs and heavy tails. One could even glimpse the occasional salmon leapt.

The first day began with two pieces of salmon, the first of about 4.5 kg and the other a female of approximately 6 kg, which had to go back for this must all be put back honlaxar.
The following days fishing was very good and after six days so would my girlfriend go home and I had the country 14 salmon.
